My Compaq Presario my dad bought me when I was out of country was not right. It said 128mb *RDRAM* but it didnt feel like it. I dont know why but my old Celeron 500mhz with its 128mb sdram seems lot faster then this pentium 4. :p Does any one know how to find out what kind of a ram it is without openin the computer up?

if its a p4 then there is almost no doubt that it uses rdram.

sandra is located here

otherwise you can take apart your computer, pull out the ram sticks and see what they says on them.
Si Soft sandra is quite good.Try it.
Anyway the performance of a computer depends on a lot of things. You know my cel 500 with 64 mb sdram behaves much better than my friends p3 750 with 128 mb ram coz I have tweaked my Windows ME and I am keeping my start menu clean.
