I'm looking to open TuxEmu (again). For those of you who do not know what TuxEmu is/was, its a website dedicated to emulation on the Linux platform. Right now, I need everyone's help and tell me what they want to see happen. I've started a topic on TuxEmu's forums that you can provide feedback, or just tell me right here right now.

Here's what I posted on TuxEmu's forums for those who are too lazy to click:
Right now I'm still trying to determine exactly what TuxEmu's mission should be. I need all those who are interested to help me figure it out.

Here is what I currently have planned:
  • Latest news regarding Linux emulation, and possibly Linux in general
  • A database of emulators currently available for Linux. Maintained by site crew.
  • A set of support guides. The guides are created by the site crew, or visitors who feel they have something to contribute. The guides will be maintained by the site crew.
  • The guides may include a special Tips and Tricks section?

That's it for right now. What I want is input from visitors, what they would like to see in this site. Please, give me feedback. Features you want to see. So please, reply to this topic, or pm me, or even e-mail me, and give me your two cents or more.
If any of the admin want to make this topic more known, that'd be great.

Thanks for your feedback.

I dont know if its what you are looking for, But a while ago I came across a pc emulator software called VMWare Workstation (and consequently got to be a beta tester...probably lots of those tho), It acts as a virtual pc emulating pure hardware to run multiple os's at the same time through either linux or windows...if it helps.

users generally have a hard time getting their stuff to run under linux, so step by step guides, including installation details, would be helpful. It would be awesome if someone who doesn't know much about linux would also be able to get started.
