ok here's is what happen's. I just got this today.

I open up epsxe. Then i select run Cd-rom. Then in the dos window it does its thing then my screen turns black and i get a line that goes up and down a little way down my screen. I can't get any picture whats wrong?

ok what happens when you select run bios? Does it work correctly?

it opens up and i can see the white background and the red-orange emble but no text when its on the screen or the blue/purple screen

if i switch from openGL to software then it works but the quality is not very good

From what you said it sounds like a gpu plugin problem. I agree with gunblade. Does it run ok in D3D?

Althernitively i might be a driver issue. Try updating your drivers.
