i cant press multiple button

For instance, in Soul Calibur, P5S and other games, both Xbox One controllers and the PS5 controller I tested, every time I would press each button, would register at least one other button press, like when I pressed the X button it'd press the Y button, with the Y button it'd press the X button as well, B button pressed X and A pressed Y, with the pause button also pressing the right trigger. This means that I could press a certain button and a menu would come up, another button and it would continue but the online menu would come up as well... It's been bugging me for a while so, I figured kodi I'd make an account here and ask around for advice. I've tried getting rid of the Steam configuration support, I've tried every controller I've had, I've tried reinstalling the drivers, even the hidden one that cropped up, all fruitless. So... any advice?
