i can't play ff8 or GT1 with epsx 4.0

it looks like they used some kind of different cd arrangement on those games:(
so what do i do?

Same here cause i have 1.2 and 1.4 and 1.4 doesnt have the disable cdrom status so i switched to 1.2 and enabled disable dc rom status, Well theres prolly a way for it to work on 1.4 but i I Dont Know and im still figuring it our if anyone can knows plz tell us.
