The PC doesn't see the tablet as having any information on it.

I'm trying to access an android 9.0 tablet.

My new tablet

Any advice would be appreciated.

Go to Google Play Store and get Airdroid, as long as PC and tablet is on the same network, you can transfer files wireless and get much more features.
