So i can run most games on pcsx2. But heres the problem.. Lets say im playin kingdom hearts, it runs 90-100% but then every 5 minutes or slow it'll slow down a lot to like 15-20 fps (17%).

Ive tried different things to make it stop but it still does it, any suggestions?

It's probably overheating.
Check the temp of the processor and video card.

yeah i did some checking... It is cause its overheating.

So anyone have any tips to prevent overheating or maybe to keep my laptop from slowing down when it overheats so that i can not lag in game and finish what im doin and give computer a rest?

If you use the laptop on a bed or any other fabric covered furniture (including carpet) STOP! Only use the laptop on a flat, dry surface like a table, desk, or a stand.

Other than that, you can open up the laptop, remove the CPU and GPU coolers, clean off the old thermal grease and apply something better like Arctic Silver 5. I did that on my laptop and it lowered my temps by almost 15C. (the old thermal grease was really crappy) Then again, that laptop you have has some age on it, doesn't it? Maybe it's just clogged up with some dust?

Yeah it gots a little age on it.. But i know its fully capable of running pcsx2. Its just with laptops overheating is a big issue. I'll check to see if there is dust that needs wiped out...

I tried using a cooling mat but that just really slowed the emulation.. and my computer overheated even faster.
