i just downloaded an iso from my friend and it's the re3 iso, i try to use the image drivers after i have chosen cdrom drive c which is where the iso is but it says mci can't be opened,what is going on

Try to use the option "Run ISO" instead of emulating a virtual CDROM.

Uhhh. Okay I'm pretty sure that changing the cd drive won't do a thing if your gonna use an iso. You can always load an iso file itself.

If it still won't work that the iso is corrupt or something.

Just how the heck did you download an iso file? that would take pretty long.

Maybe you can do it as i did below:

Try to mount the ISO file with DEMON 2.74

Set the drive letter in EPSXe to X where your virtual CDROM locates

Try Run CDROM option in ePSXe 1.4
