[Nightmare]

No matter how many times i click on the window media player .exe file,it will open only one copy.Could someone plz tell me how to open more than 1 copy?

Btw, what kind of software will allow me to convert .dat file to .avi file?


p/s the current version of media player im using is version 7.

under the preferences or whatever, try to find the option that allows you to open a new file in a new window. i think thatll cover the multiple instances.

Thanks. But it is either no such option or i dont know where to find it

This new version is abit different than the older version,i do remember the older version allow me to open multiple windows by changing some setting in the preferences, but i am unable to find the same option in this new version.

well, i found this at microsoft homepage :

Windows Media Player 7 and 7.1 do not have the option to open a player for more than one multimedia item at a time. This behavior is by design.
