How do I get my PS1 and PS2 to read burned CDs? Is there a tutorial on how to do this? Reading through the tutorial on how to dump the PS1 BIOS I noticed that I first need a console that can read burned CDs.
You need to burn a cd using a software like Nero. the burnt cd should contain the program (psx.exe) burnt on it.
Did you forget to read the guide after the first line?
I can see the first line just fine...where I'm confused is, after I burn the psx.exe to a CD-R disc, how to I get the Playstation to read it? With a Mod****, as suggested by DAX?
Ok, so I insert the psx.exe CD, follow the instructions, get my BIOS, and use it in the Emulator to play games......right?
But in order to play burned game CDs on the PS1 or PS2, I need the modchip, or Free MCboot, right?
