Is there a way to get an A.I. Ally in Starcraft when playing the skirmish game?

In "Free for all" and "Melee" modes the A.I. players are always against you.

you can do that with the North vs South... or was it Team Melee..

I have been playing matches through single player->custom maps!

I should have gone to multiplayer! :hdbash:

BTW, does anybody know if Starcraft will run on a Mac OS X?

Yes. All blizzard games released since Warcraft 1/Diablo are Mac compatable.

If my memory serves me correctly, after version 1.08 or so, you can have AI ally by opening a LAN game. It should be apparent once you get there.

Don't believe so. Only hope is to play on maps that have lots of resources in itself so you can speed up the process of getting resources. Like Big Game Hunters (map) or something.
