I have a Elsa GeForce2, how do I get FSAA to work and if it's worth it (screen shot, please!). I turned FSAA 4x on in settings but don't see any difference in the emulator. I'm using Pete's OpenGL (lastest version).

Please Help!

Thanks

Zinc, take a look in the screenshots section of these board. Find the post entitled PacMan World Screens. Take a look. These were taken by me on my Elsa Gladiac GEForce 2 GTS card w/4x FSAA turned on. W/the new Detonator 12.40 drivers, the graphics, w/FSAA truned on, are even better. Turning it on in settings IS the way to get FSAA to work. But I've been told that 4x FSAA in OGL is actually 2x FSAA. Still it looks excellent.

Samor, you only need to enable FSAA in driver properties. There is no way to enable it in ePSXe or in the GPU settings. Pete had a Line Anti Ailiasing option in his GPU plugins, but it has since been removed.
Zinc, I'm surprised that you don't notice a difference. I sure do. FF 9 looks just like an animated movie for me, it is that GOOD.

I can see the difference too. It's very subtle, but I see it. Anyway, that starting screen is not so good to measure it. You should try to see it on a higher poly-count scene. The difference will be much more discernible then.

FSAA is much more noticeable when you run at full screen. Those images that you saw get stretched to full screen when you actually play. When this happens the pixels become much bigger and jaggy's much more noticeable. Also JPEGs aren't the best for showing the benefits of FSAA. Personally I can't play anything without FSAA anymore.
