How do you use the cheat option in ePSXe

Hey guys, I am a new user to ePSXe and wanted to know how to get cheat codes for games. I do not know how to use the cheat options in the program. It does not look like the input is for Gameshark codes. Please help. Thanx.

Don't necro threads please. And read rules and software manuals.
You can add cheats to PEC via "File->User Database".
