newbie here, and yes, i read through the billions of pages on trying to get this to work!

I did it exactly the way some guy called nosound says so, and i know this may have been covered already... but COME ON!!!

i'm using the save he posted... H

I did it this way:
User-Wii-Title-0001000-52534250-data-nocopy, saves...

And it always does the same old "Create New Save" BS...

and my revision is SVN 3661, 64bit...

And... my ISO is actually in Winrar format, but Dolphin loads the game fine that way for some reason... i can't extract it, it will always do the "corrupt error..." but i digress...

3661 is outdated, download a newer revision. on the gamelist, right click on your ssbb and select "open wii save folder". your saved games should be there. There is nothing in my no copy folder.
It is an ISO, i think you dont have cd burning software installed but you do have winrar, so it shows up ISO files as winrar archives.

ok,when i click on "open wii save folder, what exactly should i pick?

WTF? i click on one of the .sav files, it launched Half-life 2? WTF?

Look around the forums, many members post their own builds in their signatures. When you click on open wii save folder it will take you to the folder that your saved game files should be in. You dont have to click on anything in that window, just make sure your files are there.

god, this is a pain in the ass... i got the save file itself, but everytime i launch SSBB it keeps on asking to create a new save! NO! USE the save i got!

And, about the "open wii save folder" is it just to look at it or do you have to click on something? Like i said before, it launches Half-life 2 if i click on the .sav file.

And i changed my revision to R3972... What's wrong here?

Put the save game files in the window that appears when you right click on ssbb>open wii save folder. Your revision is still old, the latest is 4354.

nosound.97 is me, I just changed my username. Anyways, you need to follow steps Gareth1977 explained and also make sure you're trying to run the same version of the game as the save file (save file is for PAL version, so the game should be PAL as well)

oh ok... it works now, problem was that i was using your broken save before i tried out your fixed one...
on a side note... How the hell did they make it so playable, better than Melee in FPS wise?
It's only been out a year compared to 8 years for melee, and it works fine on my boot camp macbook pro! How did that happen?
