helo, i have a problem.. whenever i close epsxe. it still runs.. eventhough the emulator is closed, it's acting like it's still running.. the song is still there and it lasts forever until i run another game. i tried using ctrl+alt+del to see if the emulator is running but it is not.. it is making my cpu to slow down and i have to restart everytime.. anyone knows what's wrong?

If you still hear music then you're closing it the wrong way.

Press ESC to stop the emulation, then close it.

it's actually a problem i've had before too. but only when i X out of the emulator when it's windowed (and not full screened). if you press escape first it shouldn't do it, but if it does... use control+alt+delete. ePSXe doesn't show up under applications, but you can close it under the "Processes" tab by right clicking it and going to "end process."
