I've tried Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy 9 with ePSXe and my performance is really low. I'm WAY over the system specs for ePSXe. I have a 1,3GHz Pentium 4, 384MB RDRAM, Geforce 2 GTS. Why is both CC and FF9 working with such a low FPS? I've tried all Pete's Video Drivers and none of them have FPS that's acceptable (I do not wish for FPS over 60 or something, but let's just say that it's not hard at all to count the frames myself with my eyes). For SPU plugins, I've tried Null2, the built-in ePSXe SPU Core and Pete's MIDAS. No combination have been found with good speed.

Anyone can help me out with this one? ^_^

Use Pete OpenGL 1.51 for GPU and select "nice" settings then enable "use frame skipping" and enable "FPS limit" where you must type 60 if you play NTSC games, and choose method 3 for "off-screen drawing"
Use Iori 1.471 for SPU and enable all options except "show realtime config window".
That should work good on your PC.

maybe it's just the Pee 4

best collaboration with Pee 4 is WinXP. And I think ePSXe has not been optimized for ISSE2 - sure, it has more bandwith - wait for ePSXe with special ISSE2 edition :p

I'm on Duron 800, CC and FF IX run flawlessly, Nice settings, 1024x768x32

Get Athlon 4 instead (just a suggestion) :D
