hiya
I may sound like a total nOOb but i dont care.
I have a original psx game and I dont have a cdr so i want to copy
it to my comp.Yeah i know its gonna take a lot of room :)
I tried making a iso file with Clonecd and i only get a sub file, image file and a cdd file.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually you could use the CloneCD images in the older versions of ePSXe, but you had to set the "open files of type" to "show all files" I used to do this all the time with ePSXe 1.20.

Also when you make an Image file you should enable the "read subchannel data from DATA and AUDIO tracks" options, but you should disable all the other options.

Hey adair,what happens if you dont even enable those two options?
Actually I always use clone cd with all options disabled and no problems until now.Can you mention any specific games that show problems with that?

well, those options are really the whole point of clonecd. some readers may not be able to access subchannel data however so im pretty sure its not vital for emulators. i think it has to do with the protection scheme mainly, but the stuff on the cd may try to access the subchannel data. i know that if you are backing up your psx discs that you should have these options ticked off in order for it to work on a modded psx if it has some sort of protection..
