first , hi all i'm new in this forum , and im also new to ps2 emulation:)
here my specs:
Amd Athlon 64 x2 dual 5200+ 2.8ghz
ATI Radeon 9600 gt 512 mb
2gb Kingston
Windows Xp Sp3

i have a decent machine , but i cant quite get FFX to work without being fullspeed or full of glitches , maybe you guyz could help me and figure out wich
plugin i need to make it run smooth and with less artifacts on screen ;)

Not only that (that it should run full speed most of the time), but upgrading to a GeForce 8800GT from a GeForce 9600GT is a waste, especially for PCSX2.

If you configure it correctly, it should work just fine, but it will likely slow down here and there, but should net you close enough to full speed the way through. Just make sure you don't use SSSE3 or SSE4 version plug-ins (your CPU doesn't support those), and that you enable the Final Fantasy X hack and/or NLOOP in the video plug-in, depending on version. Make sure the dual core and MTGS modes are checked in the CPU options, and it should be good for the most part.
