I know this kind of thread really sux, but I couldn't avoid it. PSXeven is the only really usable psx emu around (c'mon guys, get real), and I'm worried about it! Xeven, are you alive? :)
We have talked a long time ago via email, I'm not quite sure if you remember. Anyway... you are the man of psx emulation, please keep helping us mortals
to play all our psx games better :thumb:

Xeven already has posted about next releases. Mind you, it was the first post on the section before you created this. BTW, there are various usable PSX emulators. Xeven's is one of the greatest, but i don't think you should disregard the work from the other development teams.

Yeah right. "Usable" is light years away from QUALITY. ePSXe? Do you mean I must keep restarting a prog. because it's developers can't do proper work with DLLs? Or you are about to tellme you use something else? Geez, wanna know something? I really DONT CARE anymore :D

Because I just got a REAL PSX yesterday from a friend... he just gave me his psx because he got a ps2 now. So, to HELL with crappy psemus! :p

:O!!!! you have to close the emulator when you play a game and want to change settings? ohmygosh! for the emulator on the go, those 5 extra seconds are crucial. i know where you're at man. that's why i use HushyPSX, an emulator i wrote. it does everything for you, before you actually want it.

anyway, on a non-sarcastic-being-a-dick note, these emulators are programmed for FREE. i never saw you give a cent to Xeven or the creators of ePSXe (sure, prove me wrong. only one person actually did, and said "i donated money!"). and even if you did that doesnt mean you're paying them to develop it. they do it out of the kindness of your heart.

and plus, you already discovered what plays PSX games best: the original PSX.

ePSXe doesn't need you to shut it down once you changed plugin settings. It only says you do.

So are you telling me you used an emu without owning the real hardware, and thus with an illegal bios, as you couldn't dump one yourself from your legally bought system? Bad boy, that seems like warez to me.

I mainly use ePSXe, though sometimes i like to use PSXeven as well. As i usually have my plugins properly configured, i have zero need to change them once emulation has started. Anyway, if i have to do it, it takes so little time that i don't care. Anyway, i understand from your post that you can do better work with dll's. So when is your emu going to be released? I'm eager to try it.

Go on and play on whatever you want to. I'll keep playing with enhanced graphics and higher speed when i feel like so. And i'll still be thankful to the people who donated their free time to these projects, just to find ungrateful people like you calling their emus 'crappy' after using them to play illegaly games for a system they don't own. Grow up a little before making a fool of yourself publicly again, please.
