I noticed a few things that there are a few settings which helped me get full 60fps in GT2..........oh Yea.........what are they......?

Well actually my mother board if of Acord with Via Chipsets....Version......6BX81p.........U wanna check it out go to
www.acorp.com.tw
The Bios in this motherboard is the Award winning Bios.......somthing like that........!

I went to the Chipsets Configuration Panel. There I had many option out of which the two which I noticed really implemented the effect are

AGP Apperture Size:128MB
Video Ram Cacheble:Enable
AGP2x mode:Disabled

Well when I made those I got a bit more speed.....the slowdowns were gone and I was HAPPPPPPPPPPPPYYYYYYYYYY.........hehe......!

So I thought these might help others guys with the specs same as mine

Oh my specs

128MB Ram
Asus V3800M,32MB Video Card

I think that the most important change you've made was to change the aperture size.
i have it at 64 MB and have 256 MB ram
will putting the apperture size at 128 improve performance or will it give aditional problems?
128 might give you a slight performance improvement.
Mine's at 256.
lol
i got 1 more 3dmark!!!!
lol, well, it was 4 free afterall :D
Having 256 megs of RAM, 128 isn't a bad ap. size...However, if you're running SoundFont on SBLive! or something taking up additional RAM, you'll find that apps that only require 128 megs RAM won't run well due to constant swap file access. I personally have a 32 meg soundfont that's always there...just never got rid of it or seen any reason to. Just something to look at if things go bad.

I'm wondering if soundfont is something that you have to turn on with a SBlive or is it already on by default when you install a SBlive? And if it is on by default how can I turn it off? I just looked at my settings and can't figure anything out except maybe you are saying you have a 32meg soundfont cache. If thats what you meant then that's good because I have mine set to 2meg(with "1.76 allocated" whatever taht means). Is there a way to make it 0meg cache because I never use it.
BTW I have 128meg RAM. What should I set my aperture size to? It's at 64 meg by default.
Hey Adair do u know what a sound font is.........it is for the musicians..........!
these are the files U attach to your Ram......these files contains sounds...........like I use sound fonts while using cakewalk.........don't worry wbout them.......they don't ghet attached by themselves unless u attach them.........!

I am 128 MB ram and I kept my apperture size to 128mb.........do the same......I am having no problems.........!:)

Thanks liaqatali, Ill try the 128 aperture size.
I bet it would depend on the game. I probably won't see any difference in epsxe, but maybe you only got 1 more 3dMark because the game that was tested couldn't use all 128 megs. I don't know. now that I think about it that only half way makes sense to me:)
lol
i think the Max payne's engine consume the whole 128 MB ;)
BUT im not sure, u maybe right.....
Well Neojab....I checked it again.....I adjusted my AGP apperture size to 64 MB and I lost almost 3fps..........:(
