Hi all, first post. I am having problems with valkyrie profile. Graphics are fine, it looks fine on various plugins, but the problem is.. it gets stuck.. not frozen, its responsive, but the dialogue does not move forward even though its automatic at the times before this certain spot. The spot is right in the beginning in the intro. I just get into the castle, and at the text "stand, lenneth" it stops, i have tried pushing every button, and nothing happens. I have tweaked alot of video plugin options, and its still stuck, should i look elsewhere beyond video?.. heres info just in case.. im using epsxe 6.0 and its an iso. my plugins are as follows:
eternal SPU plugin 1.41, various video plugins look fine and run, i have used Peops soft driver, all of petes plugins.. radeon 9200 amd athlon 1.24 512 megs of ram

Try running it from the original disc or remake the ISO.

I have played this game and this error occurs randomly after some speeches.
In this game the major problems are with the SOUND (with the buffer size, try 50-200). I use this options (jpg) with the eternal lite 1.41 plugin and the game works (with some freeze).
If its hangs again you can try PSXeven to bypass the freeze point
