Well i'm stuck with some english grammar, anyone wants to help out?
I have to insert the correct form og "find" in these sentences.

Yesterday she finally found the book.

You will never find out who cheated you

He was_____it hard to cope with the situation (finding perhaps?)

She did not find her way until it was too late

He will be pleased when he finds a true friend

Do you think you will find what you are looking for?

No, I still have not found what I am looking for.

Thx :innocent:

All are correct. The missing word you're looking for is, indeed, "finding"
thx :)

This one is a little difficult. I have to insert demonstrative pronouns OR definite article .

1. Can you ___ car? Isn't it a Mercedes? (The?)
2. Two minutes layer they saw ___ man who owned teh Mercedes. (The?)
3. Mr. Clarke is stinking rich. ___ wine he drinks cots 30 pounds a bottle. (The?)
4. It was almost midnight before they found ___ hotel they were looking for. (The?)
5. Look! This is ___ house Shakespeare was born in. (The?)
6. You can't wear ___ trousers. They are too dirty. (those?)
7. I have found ___ keys I lost yesterday. (the?)
8. I don't like ___ way she speaks to her husband. (the?)

It's almost "the" all the way? o_O?

^All of them seems correct other than 1. Can you check your sentences and retype them correctly, since some of them have grammar and/or spelling mistakes? :/
We do exercises like these all the time at school.

1. Can you ___ car? Isn't it a Mercedes? * looks like a wrong sentence to me*
2. Two minutes later they saw the man who owned teh Mercedes.
3. Mr. Clarke is stinking rich. The wine he drinks costs 30 pounds a bottle.
4. It was almost midnight before they found the hotel they were looking for.
5. Look! This is the house Shakespeare was born in.
6. You can't wear these trousers. They are too dirty.
7. I have found those keys that I lost yesterday.
8. I don't like the way she speaks to her husband.

I know this is off topic but do you wear uniform at school ? my dad's trying to get a doctor's job there. I hate the uniform they have here at school.

Ok, ok, sorry. :heh: /me retreats to his corner and stops posting for 2 weeks to atone for the mistake.
No harm done :p. no reason to short circuit yourself
I feel sorry for you, in U.K. our test to get a degree in English literature is like.

"the cat sat on the _____" or "my name __ Bob"
7. I have found those keys that I lost yesterday.

Sure about this one? why the hell are you using "those" and not "the"?
You use "those keys" because it's specific.
"The keys" can mean any keys in the whole wide world.
