Help with ISOs

Hi there! I am new to ePSXe, and I have to say you guys have done a great thing! thank you! And after you have given me so much I still ask for more! I can't figur out how to make my ISOs work. Everthing goes great if I just pop the disk in, runs fine, little low down. So I read if I make an ISO it goes better. Got me that MagicISO and made a bunch of ISO of my games, but non of them work! The screan just turns black, I am not sure what I am doing wrong, can some one help me?

welcome. and not to be rude on your first post but i believe this goes in epsxe boards. And i haven't used epsxe in a while but make sure you are running it from the iso (obviosuly) or you could try a different program to make ISO's. Alcohol 120% is another good tool to use for mounting your images to a virtual drive.

I always used an old version of Clone CD which worked great for me

also: What plugin are you using? I used the Mooby + Clone CD iso combi.

You are selecting the option File -> Run ISO when playing games from ISO, right? I see no other potential problem unless I'm missing something. It could also be a format issue. I always use the .bin extension for playing from ISOs.

I don't know, I just got the 120% as you said, but still nothing happens when I go to run them, just stays at a black screan! If I take the file and mount it to a drive however and do run CD once more it works! I don't know what I am doing wrong, Please help me!

Edit: The current drivers I am using are as follows:
Petes DX6 D3D Driver 1.75
ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2

Everthing works great except trying to run an iso. Thanks for the help!

so if it runs by virtual drive I think the problem is solved... ain't it?

What you could do is using Mooby's Disk image plugin, which doesn't even require you to mount it in a a virtual drive, but you can select the ISO directly. I don't know if it supports the Alcohol Images, but like I said, with Clone CD it worked perfectly for me, good luck
