Hi.

I need help to configure my PCSX. I'll give my computors spec below. What plugins, what settings?

The game i need to be run is FF9 (got legimit copy).


My computor:
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
1,53 GHz 768 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400
LG DVD/CD-ROM
SiS 7012 Wave (Think i have a internal soundcard, can't find it)
Win Xp Home, windows update.



I have to confess that all the diffrent plugin was confusing.

petes opengl2 driver version 2.6
petes dsound audio driver 1.15
im using xevens cdr driver 0.93 (comes with psxeven)
pad driver: kazzuya Gamepad DInnput driver



and it runs fine with those plugins for me

bios im using: 7003 forgot to mention that is why edit.

not tried with ne other bios's as i dont have them

Tried thoes... get a black screen and nothing happens. The Cd does somthing but no action....

tried with: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2. for cd plugin, works fine here with that also, if ur on irc Linknet pm me my (same nick as in forum) and i'll dcc my plugin folder


the version im using for emu itself is 1.60 which u can download from: http://www.epsxe.com/files/epsxe160.zip

internal x res: set to 1 high standard enchanced display
internal y res: set to 1 high standard enchanced display

texture filtering: 0 = none same for hires textures, gfx card vram i have at auto detect

fps limit i have checked, along with frame skipping

off screen drtaw: set at 2: extended
framebuffer effects: 3: full
framebuffer upload: 1 standard

only other checkboxes i have checked for this plugin is: Screen fuiltering mdec filter and the gf4/winxp crash fix

Now i hear music, se the sony logo, the plastation logo. Then i arive at the "Main menu". Memory Card or CD player. What is this?

have u tried using state manager to start it

i should be in irc for a fair while neway

oh yer, i use run cd make sure cdrom has proper drive assigned, in the cd rom options

Now i got the same setting as Techi.

Changed to ePSXe with
Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.7
P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.9
ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.
SCPH3000.BIN

I have tried Run CDROM=> black screen
I have clone my CD and tried with the iso. => Black screen

No progress with PCSX ether...
