I just started the whole dolphin experience and for the most part I'm happy with what I see. I have gotten most settings done for myself but some others I'm having a hard time figuring out. First off I get an error saying that when I open dolphin it couldn't load the opengl plugin for directx. Also when I get the game running the base textures like the ground go either black or weird colors with stripes in it. And also I'm having a hard time getting my x360 controller AND my keyboard working. I tried using both plugins and nJoy is the only one that lets me assign buttons for my xbox 360 controller but it doesn't let me assign for my keyboard. Can someone help me out a lil bit? The game I'm trying to play is Super Smash Bros Melee.

About X360 and keyboard you may use Dolphin KB/X360 plugin and check X360 pad enabled for 1st controller (you don't need to assign buttons) and 2nd controller for keyboard (you need to assign buttons if you want). About black stripes just play Melee at higher resolution and everything will be fixed

Ok now currently i'm running antialiasing at 1 and anisotropic filtering at 1x but it crashes when I raise that. Is it because I don't have the resolution higher when I raise those two options?

xfx geforce 8600 GT 512 mb 128 bit, amd athlon x2 +3800 2.1 ghz, 2 gig ram

Also about the error I get at the beginning. Does anyone know about that?

You need to update your DirectX in order not to get this error

Ok I will do that. I downloaded the update for my graphics card. Is there a seperate download for a directx update or will the graphics card update do?

Oh by the way just wanted to say. You guys are pretty helpful.
