umm yea i am a little new at this emulation. and i can't seem to get my ff8 working. i downloaded the PPF patch and stuff and it still dose not go i took a screenshot of the config thing here

That seems odd that you probably have a PAL copy (based on your location) but the emulator says that it's an NTSC copy. Try either remaking the ISO or running the game straight from the CD.

Ummm i have done both like u said and the same message comes up =s

and my disk is from the shop and i did not download it. ( works os ps1 well )

Open up the emulator, then go to Options->Country, and make sure it's set to autodetect. If that doesn't work, try another emulator such as PSXeven, SSSPSX, PCSX, etc.

do you even need to patch the NZ version? what did you make the ISO with? just remake the ISO with subchannel data and you dont need to worry about PPF patches.
