There was another post with the same purpose down below but it was closed cuz posters were violating rules. So here I am posting another inquiry for help. :p
I load the CD and when i try to run, I get the Sony logo and then it turns into a black screen. I tried to change the settings on my ePSXe but it's still the same thing. :(
Help? Please? Anyone?

You don't happen to be one of them do you? ;)

This game seems to run fine in VGS, you can grab a demo of that emu to check it out, although I'm not sure if the demo will run it :p
What exactly have you tried on ePSXe? Have you enabled accurate cdrom timing?

What is MMX6? Mega Man X 6? :emb:

...oh, and btw, I think Garnet looks better with short hair. ;)

Eh? Both of you like Garnet with short hair? I guess different ppl have different tastes.
So anyway, MMX = Megaman X, so MMX6 = Megaman X 6.
I still can't get it to work, even tho I got a CD. :(

I installed the demo and used the patch but the patch doesn't even run, it says "XXXXX.dat does not exist or file size different" the file exist, i was able to find it in the designated folder"c:\windows\temp". So I'm guessing the patch works only if I have the retail version of VGS?

The thread won't be closed for this would it?
Are we violating any rules?
Hope not. :)
I will be closed if we don't bring it back to topic... since this is supposed to be an ePSXe discussion after all.... now, back to your problem....

About the only thing I could think of is trying different BIOSes and maybe the "Disable CDROM status" flags.... and then F4.... if all else fails, try FPSe... if all else fails, you're out of luck :p

Uhm... Sorry to break this but we really shouldn't be encouraging the use of multiple BIOSes unless you have multiple PlayStations. We're gonna get closed for this...

Careful careful!
