Ok....i start this computer....it's dell...xp pro installed...worked fine.....when i start the computer i have a good post...then when it starts to load it pops up and says keyboard faliure....i tried switching keyboards and it still did it, and i know that the keyboards are good.....mouse wors fine, but it's usb....keyboard is a 5 pin....anyone with any suggestions would be much appretiated...thanks in advance.... :cuss2: :hdbash:

Well, I think the best way to solve this is try something other than a usb keyboard. Did you try using a PS2 keyboard, or switch the mouse with the keyboard (assuming they are both usb).

Also, this is the wrong forum, this should be in the hardware section based on your problem.

i didn't see the hardware forum....sorry bout that, but the keyboard is a ps/2....that is why it has me confused......

You tried using a USB keyboard? It could be that you somehow fried your PS/2 keyboard port (It's happened to me)
