Ok, I know...I'm a spaz when it comes to computer hardware and such. Question:

Do you ABSOLUTELY HAVE to have a video card installed on your comp to play N64 emus/roms?

If so...then, next question....

....I have an old emachine from like 8 years ago....I have Windows 98 (NOT second edition)....I have like 17 GB hard drive (used to have 4...upgraded a bit)....and a 128 MB RAM, Pentium 2 Processor...it operates at 366 mhz.....

.....what type of video card would I need to play games? And, I mean cool games....both n64 emulation, and ALSO real quality popular PC games? What card....and give me a specific....there's so many types and brands and such....what's a basic, cheaper card that will allow me decent gameplay and will fit with my crappy system???

Thanks so much for your assistance.

Your pc probably has integrated graphics, and yes you would need a graphics processor to play any n64 games.Your comp may only have pci slots but your comp is way too slow to bother playing any newer pc games.if your just gonna play n64 games and some older pc games get a geforce4mc pci card as that would do just fine.
