my problem is at the part where in disk 2, while going to galbadia garden, epsxe crashes to my desktop. my friend let me use his ff8 but still it has the same lock-ups

Well, it would be better if you can provide details of your plugins and plugin configs as well.

Use ePSXe 1.5.2 in this case.

full screen 800x600
texture quality; dont care
texture filtering;2 extended removes black borders
offscreen drawing; 2 standard
framebuffer textures; 0 emulated vram-effects need FVP

no one likes special fixes.. try odd/even hack and the Lunar one also. I forget what else I use, but I got there no problem.
Edit: MY mistake on the game name.

odd/even bit hack has only been proven to help in Chrono Cross. why are you suggesting it here? and do you have a special version of Pete's plugins? either I'm blind or you're special. could you screen shot your OGL config showing this Legia fix please? because i searched, i cant find it!
