I have an un-modified ps2 and a sharkport. Is it possible to dump my bios? I tried reading the topic at http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41677 but nothing seemed to work for me. Thanks in adv.

With the sharkport you should be able to use the exploit at http://www.0xd6.org/ps2-independence.html. You will also need a psx game to be able to use the exploit.

You didnt say what didnt work, so we cant help you much. But according to that thread you should be able to.

That sucks, I downloaded the exploit but the sharkport software would not allow me to import it into the saved games file.

in order for the exploit to work, you need the title.db to match that of the original psx game you are using.

in order for you to import it with the sharkport software, you need the save in sharkport format.

chances of you getting this to work in an unmodified ps2 are pretty slim.

Ok, getting the bios is no longer the problem for me. Now I go to "run cd" and it brings up a dialog box for me to find a file to run. I don't know what kind of file i am supposed to be looking for here.

best way i know is getting your ps2 modded and then using a pl2301 and naplink to run pukko's dumpbios utility.

PLS I need help, how i can get Monsterhunter to work??? I cant skip the video with the patch. the intro and the languagescreen is great and capcom and everything. But when it gets to the video its only Black and nothin happens. PS:maybe you see im german of my f***** english^^
