I've been at heatsinkfactory.com lately. And was thinking about buying a new cpu cooler because it gets very hot. What do you think about " Dragon Orb 3 " ? Or is it better to buy an alpha cooler ?

my sis uses that on her rig, she sez its a bit like a jet engine when you take the lid off the case, but it does the job. If you asked me, i'd go for the cheaper ones like FOP38 or WBK38, they are not as loud but they perform pretty much the same as Dragon Orb 3, as well as being lighter... :D

According to Anandtech's Article: Socket A Cooler Roundup the Alpha PAL8045 is the best, albeit it is also the noisiest...:D

Hey, if noisy cools down my CPU, noisy's good.
I've heard really good stuff about the OCZ Gladiator over at www.overclockerz.com
A friend of a friend of mine has one with a 1ghz AMD O/C @ 1.45ghz and the temp runs around 40C
Also they're pretty small and only $20US
There is a review on heatsinks in www.nvmax.com........
check it out......!

remember that use Arctic Silver when when implying the new Heatsink.......!
