having problems with forums lately

sometimes when I load the site the listing of forums would have more replies to a thread than what show up in the thread itself when I check it out. Database error? An instance would be the thread I started asking for a martial arts gift idea, when I load the thread only 8 posts come up even though in the general discussion area it is listed with 11 replies.

weird it shows 12 replies being made and in the actual thread there is 13 total posts (yours and then the 12 replies) so it is showing correctly for me.

hmm, I was still having the problesm till I did test post in the thread then all the others showed up.

maybe something with the cache. I know the forums cache stuff until the next post is made to save on resources.
