I tried the 360 version and wasn't thrilled with the 360 Controller, but I'm unsure I want to use keyboard / mouse, and I'm sure I won't like the EA limited Install on the PC version, unless the Steam version goes on sale.

So how do you compare the different versions?

I played the demo on 360, controls were kinda meh, the PC version controls like any standard fps, aside from the very different game play. If you liked the game play and feel of the 360 demo, but want to play with a keyboard and mouse, go for the PC version, its a really good game IMO.

Yeah, and for sure will run smoother on the Pc, depends on your pc though!

The 360 version would be easier to control than the PC version in my honest opinions, and then the PS3 version would in turn be superior to the 360 version in terms of control layout.

Not like you can't hook up both controllers to your PC, so... it's your personal preference. The game runs equally smooth on all systems.

I finished it on PC. I tried playing the game with a PS2 controller but I found the keyboard + mouse combination superior. It's just much easier to navigate through levels and do all the crazy stunts. I didn't find kb+m controls complicated at all. Also, the PC version has the benefit of higher resolution and better AA which makes ME look crazy awesome.

When a game is selling for $5.90 coupled with the fact that you can deauthorize and reclaim activations I think it becomes a non issue :p

It passed on the minimum, but on the Recommended it failed on the fact it recommends an 8800 GeForce with 512 megs RAM minimum. I have the 8600 with 256 Megs RAM. I don't think I'll be upgrading my video card any time soon.

:heh:

So the fancy "updated" part won't work nor will high settings but the game should play, maybe on medium settings?

Honestly, grab the 360 version and get it over with. Game is around $20 with tax now if you can find one used. I just checked my local GameStop and GameCrazy.

Aside from that, no complications from trying to configure the game. :p Just pop the disc in, and off you go. Runs silky smooth, has AA, and all the other jazz that makes the game look okay, too. Unless you absolutely have to see the game at over 1024 x 768 with crazy AA, I think the console version is acceptable.
