Actually it's other way around. The funny thing is that I have it diveded into 2 partitions, one with the system and one with data. The one with the system gives me an error on window's setup...something about the partition not being compatible with windows. the other partition has important data. Any solutions?

Delete the problematic partition and recreate it in Windows setup?

same as kane's idea... use it as slave first to recover whatever valuable files that you have on that partition...

Remember that windows must be installed on a primary partition.

deleting the specific partition and creating it again solves nothing. I guess a full re-partitioning is in order :) Thanks anyway
