Halo 2/CE for the PC

that's good, and bad. Gives PC players a chance, while leaving it on a crappy engine, how wonderfully meh. I'm happy and sad at the same time.

Looks awesome, im glad bungie even let them go ahead with it. With all the maps they have planned, and obviously such a talented team it could be an excellent revival of halo pc for us who dont own an x-box

Look, this is stupid. I will say now that I have not read the complete contents of the link provided by Zapages, but from my immature understanding, it seems that this is a project, whereby the modders are constructing Halo 2, using the Halo PC engine...

Now, why don't Bungie just port the game? Or better yet, give it to another company to? But here's the most interesting question of all....would anyone want Gearbox to do it?

M$ would most likely put that project on hold until 2006 for a certain console

I'd go with Player-X.

Yeah, and like we need another failure from gearbox 'software'... Player-X is right, microsoft will most keep a tight hold on it for a while.

umm... i dont know how this can do any harm :???: . These are some talented people working on the mod which is going to be available FREE (is that right or did i miss something, didnt read the whole thing ). Definitely M$ and Bungie want to make some big bucks off of Halo 2, so there will be, i believe an official Halo 2 for PC. I dont see the reason why Bungie or M$ would let this be an alternative to an official Halo 2 for PC.

On a side note this project looks great :thumb:

you can't make certain fnctions work propery like asemytric dual wielding withoud quite a bit of effort so maybe they just use this to promote halo2 on the PC
