Yes the HD pack gives you better models and effects (for all three original half life games) but the source port of half life 1 has no HD pack support. Thats dim-witted

no, i wish i only know one person with Blue Shift and he lost the game a long time ago. and since Valve wont officially support BS (heh ironic initials) because it's by a third party company, you cant get it on steam either. i wonder if it's legal to download the hi-res pack....probably not.

Hmm… if I remember correctly it was a free download once. (Just a year or two ago I saw it on the company website.) You should try to find it.
