This is reminding me of Ehrgeiz...what a blowstatic game back in the days.

i just ran though the ARPG mini-game on Ehrgeiz again a few days ago, I enjoyed it more than the main game actually. The mini-game is cake until you let your guard down. All of the sudden your character lets out a scream as his or her soul and all of their belongings fly out of their body as though that last food you ate contained not carbs or lipids, but RDX instead. An instant later you are forced to play as the other character, more than likely much lower in level and completly uneqipped, on a quest to venture into the very room that their much stronger compainion had been recently slain. Deceptively simple... I need more games like that in my life.
