Erm...yeah, what are you talking about? Try taking a screenshot when it pops up and then put it up here. I have a vague idea of what you might be referring to, but I'm not really sure...
I've got the german Version of FF IX, but can't get video sequencies running. There I get these boxes, starting in green and looking like a MPEG-compression error (or a damaged file), then the boxes get different colours and then ePSXe screws up. I can jump over the FMV seq's and play the game normal. But no videos.
Same CDs are workking at any other machine very well.
Yes lowering your cd-rom will fix it.. or it did for me anyway..
ASUS have a program for there own cd-roms.. if not i've seen other ones around on emu pages that supposedly work for any cd-rom
