i looked through the threads didn't see this topic so I was wondering what is everyone's favorite RPG of all time?

for me it's definitely zelda particularly a link to the past/ocarina of time

That's more of an action/adventure game then RPG really... But I guess it still categorizes under RPG

And why do we have more of these threads?

It should be plainly obvious by now Xenogears will hold that crown.

I think my favorite RPG ever is The Witcher. I really liked it.

I tend not to play RPG games that much, but the most amount of time I have spent on one is Diablo 2 or Secret of Evermore so I will say either of them is my particular favourite.

Anyways, all RPG-crap have the same ideal. HP, MP, Points, and these craps. I like Final Fantasy but I've never cleared any of them.

The original Dragon Warrior is my favorite. Also really enjoyed FF4, FFX, Rogue Galaxy, and Breath of Fire 4.

Well, that was good and memorable, but it's story was next to nothing. Same with other things...like music, character cast etc...

Also, a lot of members here have a more mature mentality when it comes to video games.

Final Fantasy VII has been my favourite RPG for seven years. I also rate very high The Witcher, Star Ocean The Second Story and Final Fantasy IX... and of course, Final Fantasy VIII is one of my favourites.
