since the first thread was closed (?)
also like I said in the 1st topic the glitch does not occur with chankast (chankast has other graphical bugs which are as just as bad, so that ain't an alternative either)
but strangely enough it does occur with nullDC even if I select the chankast plugin instead
no surprise btw, since this version is older and it's beta too (I'm surprised it's still available for download btw)
anyway since it's nulldc-related (and not windows) I suppose nothing can be done about it atm, but at least I'm just letting it known that the emulator (up to latest version ie. 1.0.3) is not compatible with Ecco so that game can be taken off the compatibility list
(at least ftm)
just to say that I tried all possible combinations of palette+ZBuffer modes but the bug still persistsnullPVR has an option that lets you choose how paletted textures are going to be handled (static, versioned, dynamic point and dynamic full). Try switching between them on all Z-Buffering modes. A specific combination might fix the issue, or might not... who knows.

LOL yeah tried 1.6 (and older). forget it. same bug, plus others (like no "depth", a bug similar to chankast : background stuff suddenly pops up as it's approached)Pulverizor, have you tried previous versions of the emulator? Perhaps you may have better luck with BETA 1.6.
