is there a GPU plugin that especially made for 2D games?
well, I am trying to run Chrono trigger, Legend of Mana, etc on epsxe, the graphic is sucks and slow... :p

then I try them on vgs, they works great, but I just wanna play 'em in ePSXe. Do u know what is the resolution that vgs used? How may I config to make the graphic just like the one in vgs(any posiblity?)?

Wrong forum, should be in ePSXe, not bleem (bleem! does not have GPUs at all). Use Pete's soft driver for 2D graphics like VGS. Moving to the appropriate forum. VGS runs at 640x480.
Try Kazzuya´s plugin 1.7 is a great one

woops, I thought I posted this in ePSXe forum... sorry 'bout that! :emb:
If you have a FSAA capable card.. ie.. voodoo 4, 5, and geforce2's.. Then turn 4xFSAA on and play at a resolution of 640x480.. Here is a shot of a 2d game using this config.. CHeck out the 2d backgrounds... And set filtering to standard or extended without sprites..
Pete's soft driver --> It is kinda slow on my PC (AMD Duron 800mhz)...
Kazzuya´s plugin 1.7 --> I downloaded this from kazzuya's website. The emulator says that it is 1.6, and it crash whenever I hit "Esc" key.

FSAA capable card? I only got a Riva Tnt2 M64...
Try to Download kazsoft again from our NGEMU site itself.I think the new version surely gives some competition to great pete's soft plugin.
It doesnt crash on my pc.

Well.. Using a resolution a mutiple of the original psx resolution or close to it helps lessen the effects of pixel stretching.. That's why I suggested 640x480 with the d3d, ogl, or glide pluggins.. But software pluggins are pretty good for full 2d games.. Can't beat the right combination of settings with hardware pluggins though..

As to your crashes with Kazzuya's soft pluggin, try using epsxe executor to run epsxe and see if the crashes still occur.. Using executor to run epsxe prevents me from crashing everytime I esc out of epsxe..
I didn't use epsxescutor to play the game...
and I just redownloaded a Kazzuya's 1.7 from ngemu.com. same problem.. it shown as 1.6 in my emulator... is just a lil bug on it? or I am using the 1.6 version??!!

Yes It shows 1.6 but still works perfectly, atleast on my pc.No problems on pressing esc.
Hmmm

Perhaps if you delete any appearances of Kazzuya's plugin in your Windows registry...then download the new and config...see if that helps
a little off topic but
if you were to play a 2d game on bleem you can use d3d but disable all 3d options except "filtering sprites"
