Meh, my town isn't that big. Google (or that satellite) didn't seem very interested in it.

Wait, the second picture is in fact a pretty big town. It was even chosen as an Olympics candidate... before it was thrown out of competition in the first round...

I sort of found my house but the whole town is a fuzzy blob (I'm in Northern California). I was able to find my mom's house quite easily though .

Well, you can clearly discriminate areas which have a higher resolution, because they appear as a rectangle coloured more brown than the rest.
