So basically I was really dumb last year and managed to fail basic Spanish, so I have to retake it.

I got my books, so I can study a bit for the exams (written and oral), but are there any good online sites that provide a good (at least basic) understanding of Spanish?

Don't really care if it's free or I need to pay for it, I got enough money now that I work As long as it's decent.

Just pay attention in class?? If you have a professional teacher available than why bother pay? 0_o


BTW: Spanish I is the only class I've ever failed.

95% of them just say what the books tell them to. You're probably better of getting it from the source (The book)...

Thing is, I was.
I was at school, and had a sucky teacher.

I flunked, so now I've signed up to study on my own.
I got my books from last year, now I'm looking for an online course to complement it, so I can actually learn something this time around.

Problem is, I'm not that good at learning stuff reading about it, I learn it better doing it for myself.

Aside from the course, there are quite a few Latino folks around here whom you could ask for help in case of specific problems, stuff like language semantics and all.

Just watch some Taco Bell commercials and you'll learn the essentials.
