I had the day off today so I went to the movies. Went to see Unleashed with Jet Li. Very awesome movie. Very close to being his best one yet. No problems there.

Now I know I have some weird qualities. I have my certain theaters that I go to, and at certain times. I don't go at night or anytime between Friday to Sunday. I just don't like being around the crowds of younger kids that hang out there. So that leaves weekday mornings to afternoons. There's hardly anyone there, no lines and almost every seat open. And they must have theater style seating, not those old sticky-floor cinemas. I'm a semi short guy so anyone sitting in front of me blocks about 2 inches of the bottom screen.

Now maybe it's just me, but sitting right in front of someone when there's 200 other seats available is rude. I had to move 2 times because of that. I was one of 7 people watching that movie.

Now is that me being weird or would that actually be considered rude?

I never move during the movie, which is why I try to get a perfect view of the screen. All this happens before the movie or previews start.

I just understand how someone can sit right in front of someone else when 95% of the seats are empty. I look at it like this. If you're in a bathroom with 5 stalls and there's a guy at the middle one with the rest being empty, you wouldn't pick the stall next to him would you? Provided that the urinals are all clean and perfect, I'd pick one on either end, not the one next to the guy.
