my problem is that ff9 always freezes about 15 minutes into the game. The sound repeats and the screen freezes, sometimes it freezes for 10 secs and goes back to normal....and then freezes later(and here comes the restart button...). Very friggin annoying!
Im also using petes plugins for everything, and am using a patched pal iso.

My sys specs are:
Athlon 700
128 sdram

Geforce ddr

I used to get a similar glitch only it was in all D3d games. Basically I traced it to the agp controller on the mobo was having problems with the graphics card. 2 solutions

1: If its a via chipset download and install the 4 in 1 drivers

2. Download the new detonator xp and lower the speed of the agp port int he options to 2x or 1x or even disabling agp acceleration altogether.
