God of War lagging Hard in gameplay

God of war boots and plays fine but it lags hard. I was to understand i had the most appropriate settings for my set-up but if i could get that confirmed i would appreciate it!

Download CPU-Z. It will provide you a wealth of information on your system.

If it turns out that you have an AM2+ motherboard, I'd recommend a fast (at least 3GHz) Phenom II CPU.
