Why start a new thread for giving my early review about the plugins. So here it is(remember its very early to say).
Pete's d3d--slightly better(cant notice the difference)
dx6d----------slightly better(cant notice the difference)
soft-----------This one is hot.Almost a gain of 3.5 fps in fullscreen mode 640X480 playing RE-2.
So very good work pete(I hope no bugs are discovered lately).
My intel 810 doesnt support hardware opengl and software opengl is just too slow.So its not worth checking for me I guess.Originally posted by Neojag

I think yours should be 810E version(coz its the only version that supports hardware opengl).Mine is 810B SE(nothing in relation to Win 98 SE).Originally posted by Zeke_D
Whick i810 are you using? I am using the Whitney branded drivers (86MB) and it screams all pete's plugins.
I think only the Soft Plugin is going Open-Source.Originally posted by Ninja
Too bad they still don't work on Kyro cards.... still, the soft plugin is faster, which still benefits us. Maybe now that they are open source, someone can fix the problem where the D3D plugin freezes after about 1 minute of playing. I would, but unfortunately I am an idiot. Maybe sometime in the future.
