GGE908 Rumble Pack Problems

I'm using a USB controller with a rumble pack by Gaming-Elements, the GGE908 Model. I can't seem to find any plugins to make it rumble correctly, or perhaps I'm using some wrong settings. Using Jabo's DirectInput7 1.6, I either get completely random rumbles, when its not supposed to rumble and no rumbles when its supposed to, or I get constant rumbling no matter what I'm doing. N-Rage's Direct-Input8 V2 1.80a gives me no rumble activity at all. Anyone have some suggestions?

Download this updated driver for the pad if u haven't already:
GGE908 Driver v1.25
that'll at least get ur controller rumbling rather than erroring. Go to the Game Controllers option under control panel. select recoil pad. hit properties. effect page. and follow instructions to test the rumble. That's as far as i've gotten.
