Getting PEC to work with ePSXe version 1.5.2

As the topic says, how do I get these two programs to run together to activate cheats?

Here's what I've done so far.

Configured and tested all the plugins to make sure the game has worked first. I was able to do this thanks to a thread I found here, but now I can't seem to find it anymore.

Anyway, the PEC emulation cheater is pretty cut and dry. I found the game, and the cheats I want.

This is where I get stuck...

When you highlight the cheats you want, your supposed to hit the "Send cheats to Plugin" button in the bottom left corner. After that, a small window pops up saying... "Now start your emulator, select the [pec] plugin as the emulators GPU/Video- plugin and start the emulation. The codes will automatically be actived".

First off, the [pec] plugin is not in the drop down box list of choices for GPU plugins. Second, well...I've tried all 4 GPU plugins for fun. Nothing.

Can anyone help?

When u install PEC it should give u an option to find the epsxe plugin folder. Try reinstalling, then setting it to epsxe/plugins. From there, open epsxe and select graphic plug-in, set to PEC, then configure that, and set to your video plugin.

That's it, it works now. Thanks makotech. I spent so much time playing with the two programs, I forgot about something as simple as that.

By the way, once I got it working I spent some time figuring out how to actually get the cheats working because turning them "all on" doesn't work.

If you want, I can make a topic on how I did it to this particular game.
what?
